Build Muscle | Improve Overall Health | Improve Sports Performance | Increase Flexibility | Weight LossAbout:
I am a former U.S. Marine and Certified Fitness Trainer. I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps where I was responsible for the physical training of Marines. I was responsible for the strength training of the Marines. I was also responsible for their body composition as Marines routinely had their body fat measured to ensure they met the body composition standards. These Marines also underwent Physical Fitness Tests a minimum of twice per year. I was responsible for having them at a physical level where they passed such assessments. There exam consisted of a body composition, timed sit-ups, timed 3 mile run, and pull-ups. My personal performance in these assessments were 160 sit-ups in 2 minutes, a time of 17:20 for 3 miles, and 20 pull-ups.
In the civilian sector I have trained and written individual programs to accomplish personal weight, body composition, and overall fitness goals such as increase firmness or toned, increase lean muscle etc.
In our first meetings I normally take a look at the feet and recommend proper footwear to ensure healthy training. I do a client intake form for past health, measure height, weight, and body fat. Then based on your goals I write appropriate dietary guidelines. We begin forming an exercise program through performing various exercises and keeping the ones that feel best for you. We will keep track of your progress and adjust as needed to yield the safest and fastest results. In addition to attaining your goals you will be learning a great deal through this journey about the way your body works, about diet, and about managing your health in a way that works best for you.
